INTEGRATED FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS TRAINING (IFRS): COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE

Overview

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) are the world’s most widely applied accounting standards. Over time, many organizations have expanded their businesses and now operate in more than one country. These organizations must follow the local rules regarding the presentation of financial statements.

Previously, such organizations faced a myriad of challenges in complying with a different set of accounting rules which often resulted in following different treatment for similar transactions. IFRS addresses these problems by providing a single set of high-quality accounting standards which are recognized internationally.

The integrated IFRSs Training’s objective is to provide a rigorous and detailed overview of major technical IFRS requirements, and includes illustrative financial statements, case studies, examples, and interactive participation from the delegates. The disruption caused by the Covid-19 has presented peculiar challenges in applying IFRSs, however, where relevant, the program will highlight the practical approaches in response.
